They say that there are those that have it all. Those that have their opportunities laid out before them, and they take them for granted not knowing how precious they really are. An opportunity is an opportunity, regardless of the circumstances. Some of us seem to forget that anymore….we take for granted those little things, the important things….we’re careless to observe what we’ve earned. And it hits us hard when we’re standing there, alone. When we’ve lost what we could never realize we had….not until it had already disappeared. We’re all made to learn from our mistakes, but some mistakes just hurt too much to let happen. The times when we’re looking back at what we could’ve changed, what we could’ve done to make right what was wrong, to keep what we had but now have no longer….painful times, nonetheless. But still, they’re in that same experience. We learn from what we’ve done wrong. Sometimes we overlook that too much, and we don’t realize what we have until it’s too late. Some can never learn to cherish what they have, embrace the good times, learn from the bad, the mistakes….they’re to busy drowning themselves. And it never ends like they expect it to…
Take those opportunities given to you while you have them. Live every moment like it’s your last. Don’t let the important things in life slip away…especially if you have the chance to fix what was wrong, to make right again what you know deep down you can’t live without. Life is short. See every part of it…don’t bask in the bad side of it. You never know how things will turn out. You have to let the world in to get anything in return. And trust me on this one….you won’t regret it. No one can know what the future holds, and maybe it’s better that way. “Fate” is for those too scared to take on their own lives head on. Nothing can tell you what you will be, what you’ll do, what you’ll say, the things you’ll amount to…..The answer lies in you, and in you alone. No one controls your life. It’s yours to build. A giant pile of puzzle pieces, so complex that the worlds greatest mathematicians couldn’t solve it…but you know how to put it together. Only you have the knowledge to move forward. You control your life. Make the best of it. You only have one chance….making a mistake is something you’ll always have to live with. Whatever you do, make sure you’re happy. Find that special person. Do the things you know you’re capable of, challenge yourself. Eat up every bit of it, you never know when the curtain will finally fall on it all…..all we can do is hope we can say we’ve done all we could, all we wanted to, up until then. Life is a beautiful thing. Realize that, don’t waste it. You can’t always get what you want. And some things are difficult, but remember….you never know what you’ve got until it’s gone.
Keep going. Never quit….
